Anne Tyler Adams

Anne Tyler Adams began riding at Level Green Riding School in 1995 at seven years old, developing her skills into a talented instructor for many riders at Level Green. She has shown in both local and rated Hunt Seat shows across Virginia as a junior and Adult. 

At twelve, Anne Tyler won the "Bob Award" for outstanding performance in her first Horse Trial!  She was High Point Rider of her AIRC Riding Team and has earned end of year accolades in the CHSA circuit throughout her career.

Anne Tyler has trained under Pat Betts, Fiona Turner, Emily Betts, Yvonne Holliday, Suzanne Popp and has taken many clinics with Glenn Moody. 

She currently owns and trains a six year old warmblood x thoroughbred, Alexander.

Anne Tyler graduated from Longwood University and now works as the Executive Coordinator for the Farmville Area Chamber of Commerce and as Media Specialist for Mainly Clay in addition to Coaching with the Winter Hill staff for the Longwood Equestrian Team.


KC Meadows

KC Meadows, owner/operator of Winter Hill, has been a professional riding instructor since 1996.  KC has competed all over the United States in addition to two Nations Cup events overseas in Egypt and Hungary, caring for each and every horse she has partnered with along the way.  She attended Stonehill College in Easton, MA and was  inducted into their Athletic Hall of Fame in honor of her accomplishments as an Equestrian.

KC has developed her riding program as a safety and goal-oriented system for all levels of riders.  KC boasts the efforts and accomplishments as Director of the Longwood Equestrian Team, as well as Winter Hill's own practice and show riders.  KC attends to each horses nutrition, daily care, exercise, and training needs- involving all students in the horse care and program to ensure riders' development as horsemen.  

In the summertime you will find KC feeding, riding, and maintaining the facility on the weekdays, and coaching and riding in horse shows on the weekend.
